This vented motorcycle jacket from RST features a hardwearing MaxTex outer construction, offering a comfortable textile jacket for your next summer’s riding! The inclusion of RST’s new K540 mesh helps to alleviate some of the weight of a traditional textile motorcycle jacket without compromising the strength of the garment. This new mesh fabric is brilliantly strong, abrasion resistant and features four times more air pockets than any previous RST garment, allowing a huge amount of airflow through the garment when riding, an absolute blessing in the summer months or when riding in warmer climates abroad. Both the MaxTex and K540 mesh elements are stitched with a heavy-duty bonded nylon thread designed to withstand intense abrasion. As such, this jacket passes the testing necessary for CE rating, achieving the A standard.

Hidden beneath the outer construction of this RST textile jacket is CE approved armour fitted to dedicated pockets to ensure that the protection remains in place when you need it most. CE Level 1 shoulder armour and CE Level 1 elbow armour are fitted as standard with a pocket included to add a CE approved back protector should you choose to. RST’s next generation TPU shoulder cups make the jacket instantly recognisable as part of the RST Tractech range and help to cushion impact from the outside, as well as helping the garment to slide, reducing the gripping effect that can occur in these areas without such protection. A fixed mesh lining helps the incoming air to efficiently circulate around the jacket when riding, before expelling the warmer air out the rear ventilation areas.

Comfort is key in any motorcycle jacket, so the addition of neoprene race cuffs and a neoprene race collar on the RST Tractech Evo Mesh Jacket is a welcomed addition, offering total comfort at these areas, something that may well cause irritation with other substandard materials. You’ll also notice Velcro adjustment points at both the cuffs and waist, along with a further upper arm adjustment point, allowing you to tailor the fit of this mesh motorcycle jacket to suit your body shape. You can also accommodate any additional layers that you may choose to wear in the cooler months of the year. The cuffs also feature a zipper closure, offering the choice between tucking your gloves under the cuff or over it.

The inside of the jacket features two inner pockets fitted to the mesh interior of the jacket, while the exterior features two pockets with zipper closures, perfect for storing your essentials when out on the road. The RST Tractech Evo Textile Mesh jacket is fitted with RST’s 360° connection zipper, allowing you to zip your new mesh jacket into any compatible trouser in the RST range.
